This Privacy Policy explains how Go-To-Go Prayer ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the App.

Go-To-Go Prayer stores certain data locally on your device (for example via device storage) such as:
This data remains on your device unless you delete the App or reset data within the App. Faith Assistant history can also be cleared from the Faith Assistant screen.
To provide core features, the App may connect to third-party services:
When the App requests data from third-party services, those services may receive standard request data such as your IP address and, where relevant, approximate location derived from your request. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
When you use the Faith Assistant, your question and any selected source passages are sent through our backend to Groq. If no suitable reviewed passage is available, Groq may use its general model knowledge to generate a clearly labelled educational answer. Such an answer may contain errors and is not a personal fatwa. Our application code requests that Groq does not store the completion, and Groq states that inference input and output data is not retained by default. Groq may still temporarily retain data for service reliability or abuse monitoring under its current policy, potentially for up to 30 days. Groq processes customer data in the United States. Go-To-Go Prayer may be offered as a paid app in the App Store in the future. If you purchase the App, the payment is processed by Apple (App Store). We do not collect, receive, or store payment details (such as credit card information). We may store basic information on your device that helps the App operate correctly after purchase (for example, that the App is installed and available to you through the App Store).
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
We only share information when necessary to provide a feature you use (for example, contacting an external prayer times provider or Overpass API for Mosque Finder results).
You can control your privacy in these ways:
We do not maintain a user account system. Data you set (settings, counters, cached times) is stored locally on your device until you delete it.
Our Faith Assistant backend does not persist your question, generated answer, raw installation identifier, or raw IP address. For usage limits, the installation identifier and IP address are converted to separate pseudonymous HMAC hashes. The resulting counters exist only in server memory and expire at the end of their minute or UTC-day window. A server restart may remove them sooner. Groq may retain data as described in Section 4 and in its current data documentation.
We take reasonable steps to protect information used by the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device up to date and protected with a passcode.
Go-To-Go Prayer is not directed specifically to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you use the App outside your country of residence, your information may be processed on your device and, when using online features, transmitted to third-party services in other countries.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
